The idea of going on a date - even a fake date - with Blossom Brixley was causing me an unexpected amount of anxiety. This was made significantly worse on Monday when I realized finals were only a week away. The whole week was spent getting study guides and sectioning off parts of our books to review. I hated exams; they caused me an unbelievable amount of stress. I wasn't a good test taker, and in high school I took most of them in private rooms during lunch.
When Thursday came around and our teacher passed out the study guide, I realized very quickly how little time I would have with Blossom this weekend. Maybe the beach house wasn't a great idea...

I sent those messages at the end of class, as I watched her leaving the room. She probably wouldn't be able to text me back until the evening. Ugh, what was I going to do?
I sent Lin a text next.

She replied by the time I had packed up my school books.

Right, finals were also busy for Lin's tutoring gig. Fuck...

The reply came from Blossom, predictably, in the evening. But at least earlier than might have been expected from the busy blonde girl.

Hm... that was a question. I had trouble staying on task at the best of times, but with Blossom around too? I bit my lip.

I felt a little less anxious after that. I think part of it was because I had a study partner, but I think another part was that I didn't have to worry about this roleplay for a while. Had I known it would stress me out so much, I wouldn't have suggested it!
Unfortunately, finals also meant no Academy Works for another week. So much for momentum.
