"No midnight baking?" Blossom asked. She was sitting at a clean counter with a can of DC when Amy came downstairs. She was wearing pajama pants, but the telltale crinkle echoed through the open living area.

"Guess not." I was not a morning person. I was never a morning person. I did my best to brush my hair and I considered changing out of the diaper, but I knew I looked like I'd just rolled out of bed. Blossom, on the other hand, looked gorgeous. She wasn't wearing makeup and her hair was up in a bun, but she looked picturesque against the bright windows and snowy beach.

"So I must have done something right last night," Blossom smiled proudly.

"Yeah... thank you." I had gone through it a thousand times since I woke up ten minutes ago. A million fears, a billion worries. And one persistent "that was fun". I had so many regrets, and I felt like such a slut. But I didn't have a panic attack. I trusted Blossom, and she followed through.

"I'm so stinkin' proud of you, cupcake." Blossom practically beamed like a sunrise. "Can I make you something for breakfast? Gosh you look so cute in the morning, like a toddler waddling around with a blankie in one hand and a stuffie in the other."

I glared at her, but she was too giddy; I couldn't ruin her good mood. So I took her up on her offer.

"If you don't mind. I'd like to start working on writing as soon as I can."

"Oh, what a coincidence! I'd like you to start writing too. So I'll make you some breakfast and just stay out of your way."

You know. Kind of like a diapered maid should be doing.

I sat down on the couch and opened my laptop. The diaper crinkled under my butt and I squeezed my legs together. In Academy M, Judith wasn't in diapers yet. She probably wouldn't be in diapers in this chapter either; this was going to be a little slower than the previous stories. I guess I didn't learn my lesson from Academy K.

It was easy to get started. I left myself with a thread to pull on: Maria tricking Judith with a made-up language. Judith was going to start lashing out. Of course, Maria would be prepared.

Blossom got me a plate with a bagel and some cream cheese. She also filled my bottle with apple juice. I wouldn't have noticed them if she didn't put them both on my lap, and by the time I did Blossom was already gone.

I took a bite of the bagel and kept writing.

One of the things I didn't like about the last chapter was that it dragged on for a while. I rationalized that it had to; Judith and Maria's relationship was new. But this time, I wanted it to be a bit more punchy. I switched scenes a few times, from Maria and Judith to Maria and Eli. I kept trying to end the chapter, but I needed Maria to make a mistake. That was the gimmick, after all. Three chapters in, and I was already struggling to keep it going.

When I was done, when I was happy, I had written over four thousand words. I'd gone through a whole bottle of apple juice and it was just past noon.

I had momentum. I had time. And when I looked around for Blossom, she wasn't there. Maybe I should have just stopped, but the planets had aligned for me. So I started the next chapter.

Two more bottles of apple juice. They kept refilling like magic. The only time I noticed Blossom was when I had to use the bathroom, and she was sitting at the kitchen island. It took me a whole five minutes to wet my diaper. I sunk further into the sofa and tried to hide my blushing cheeks behind my laptop screen.

By the time I was done - two chapters, plus editing! - my diaper was lukewarm. It felt uncomfortable when I sat up, and a jolt through my spine told me to go get changed. But in the contest of urgency, changing out of a wet diaper came second to getting feedback on Academy Works.

I nudged Blossom with my foot. She was sitting on the other edge of the couch.

"Done," I said.

"Done?"

Blossom's eyes were wide and her pretty smile - framed by hair that was now hung in cute strands down each side of her face - was wider. Then she made grabby-hands, the universal sign for "gimme!".
